A good start for a circular economy rising in our state
Recently the Western Australia Waste Authority launched the new WA Waste Strategy 2030, in this new document the WA Government shows its commitment to increase the current targets for recycling and include elements to move towards a Circular Economy plus the economic value in support a local recycling infrastructure.
It is fantastic news to everyone especially the local recycling industry the state government is taking actions and have a clear plan to recovery tons of materials instead to send it overseas or even worse bury in the landfill
